a Rafflecopter giveaway

  1. One of the best giveaways I’ve seen in quite some time.

  2. This contest is designed to give those who are on social media a much greater advantage and possibility of winning. Many of us elect not to go onto FB in part due to preparedness mindsets. Something that you might want to consider in future contests.

    • I agree whole heartedly, I do not do prepping on Facebook. I know that you are wanting free advertising, I understand, but you must understand that being prepared is not what I want everyone to know about. I love many of these websites & recommend them to others privately but not on social media !

      The prizes are wonderful !!

  3. I agree with Joel.

  4. I agree with Joel’s comment. Why can’t we just enter with our email address without having to go to Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest?

  5. Definitely DITTO !! Those of us who choose to avoid social media seem to be treated as second class contest entrants. Why is the contest played on such an unlevel field? Not the end of the world…but as Captain Hook would say…”Bad Form”.

  6. Chris Ray says:

Yes, this contest is designed to give those who are on social media an advantage. They spread word about the contest, and draw attention to the sites that are participating. The attention that this contest brings to the vendors who’ve graciously donated the prizes is traded for the prizes.

I have done several giveaways where I paid out of my pocket for the prizes. I can’t afford to do it anymore. So when you who feel that this contest is in bad form because we bloggers who are participating ask you to follow our social media, want to pony up for prizes, I’ll be more then happy to hold a contest that requires nothing but an email sent to me.

  7. GatorGeek21 says:

One thing I hate about awesome giveaways….is that they never seem to be extended to Canadian’s. We luck shwag too! :-)

  8. GatorGeek21 says:

To those talking about social media & prepping & how you want to keep them seperate. Simple suggestion….create a “prepping” type account on those sites for linking with prep related organizations & people that are on them. Even just havng a twitter accunt with a prepper type name & linking to various emergency services is a start. You don’t think that GatorGeek is my REAL name do you…hehehehe! 😉
